Game 2: The Redemption: Utah Jazz @ Denver Nuggets (12/28/11, 7pm MST)

Ugh. Come on Jefferson. When the wing comes off the baseline screen and your man hedges so far out like Mosgov did, YOU HAVE TO SHOW YOURSELF. He had an easy dunk yet his back was still facing the ball.

    The Analysis

The Jazz are outmanned in every category tonight. They will need to play a completely different game than they did against the Lakers. The chances that they shoot as poor as they did yesterday are very slim, so their game will likely improve. However, most teams have lost by 7+ on their back to back games this season. Don't expect a W.

Who to watch on the Nuggets:
Lawson: Had a fantastic first game against the Mavs scoring 27 points on 66% shooting.

NeNe: The best player on the Nuggets roster last season, but had a disappointing first game of the season.

Who to watch on the Jazz:
Millsap: Next to Evans who didn't play as much, Millsap was the most productive player on the floor against the Lakers.

Watson: Could he have been any worse? He needs to improve or Tinsley is going to take his minutes.

    Forecast

    The numbers project a L

I (my heart and mind) project a L

    Go Jazz!

  • I think anyone could have told you the outcome and saved you a stupid amount of time. Sherlock.

Our best player by far comes off the bench. Orignal, if anything... Jefferson is working those offensive boards. Gotta give credit where it is due.

Did Hayward pick up two fouls when I wasn't looking? Why is he on the bench with 4 minutes left in the first quarter?

I do like that play of altering the paint cross screen. Do it with the ball at the top of the key instead of on the wing. Gets Jefferson the ball while opponent and Jefferson on the move.
