. . . except that if Utah traded AJ, then Millsap would be the de facto first-string PF (unless Favors can figure out how to play the 4--i.e., score--alongside Kanter, which he wasn't able to do much last night). But in the short term, maybe that would help the "rebuilding" toward a high lottery pick :|.Utah is not on Howard's list of teams he would re-sign with. So we would be dumping good players for nothing.
I do think it is time to rebuild though so trading AJ or Millsap is probably going to happen. I think Millsap would allow the Jazz to either move up in the draft or get a high pick. I would rather keep Millsap and trade AJ because on the financial difference of the two contracts. I also believe Millsap is a better fit and is a nice 6th man.
Al Jefferson, Paul Millsap and GS pick for Howard.
No way Howard stays here long term but I doubt Orlando gets a better offer than that.

It would be a sweet deal if Dwight would agree to an extension. Unfortunately, he wouldn't. I am still interested in what we could possibly get for Jefferson otherwise though.
It is not going to happen unless we are a part of 3 team deal. Even with that the Jazz will never see D. Howard in a Jazz uniform.
Yea we could be the 3rd team involved. But his list of teams which are Dallas, Nets, and Lakers have no players the Jazz would want.
