2023 NBA Draft Megathread

It's common because there are highly ranked out of HS lackluster sized combo guards in every draft class

I mean, he's playing better than many of the guys ranked ahead of him (everyone is ranked ahead of him). And just because they are combo guards does not mean they play the same. I don't know what's so lackluster about Amari Bailey compared to other guys on the board. His defense, athleticism, and passing stand out as NBA ready skills.

Common isn't bad either. Black and Bailey both have similar archetypes. I like Anthony Black and I think he's a top 10 prospect. I don't think Amari Bailey is a top 10 pick but certainly a guy in the mix for a late first round pick given his play.

They do not

I don't see this mock as realistic, but it would be amazing for the Jazz. Ausar Thompson, Jarace Walker, and Bilal Coulibay

Maxwell Lewis looks pretty good, kinda reminds me of the kid the Thunder took in the lottery. Thoughts on him? @Ferguson_Mellochill

Truthfully, I haven't watched him much recently. However, he scares me a bit due to the fact that he couldn't really impact games in the WCC. His numbers are good, but he may lack a certain physicality and assertiveness that would make him successful at the NBA level. Guys like Chandler Hutchison and Derrick Alston didn't stick in the NBA. Lewis is more skilled than they are, and he has enough physical tools that make him interesting if he can play in the backcourt and initiate on the ball. However, I think he goes in the mid-20s and a bunch of guys like Rupert, Cissoko, Whitehead and some others go ahead of him.

Jazz could look at him with the Philly pick.

Leonard Miller reminds me a bit of Chimezie Metu from USC. Maybe Miller is slightly more mobile and a better long-term shooting prospect. He's just been a half step slow and a bit awkward for my liking.
