Official Utah/Minnesota/Philadelphia Pick Watch

This means Dok is going to average 25/12/3 and carry us to a few unexpected wins.

Prepare yourselves.
Absolutely... Dok will score 50 against a centerless OKC and we make the play-in.

Lose to LA then hopefully we are mathematically eliminated and can shut Lauri down without pissing him off too much.

Don't think its possible yet... since we play OKC. My bad. Still possible to lose to both LA and OKC playing Lauri.

Hopefully Dallas wins the Kings games (they should be set already) and then has a showdown with SA on the last game of the year.

All I really wanted was Minny in the 9/10 game. It will all come down to the last game of the season with NO. Whoever wins has the tiebreaker. If Minny loses they have to play OKC at home... a game they should win but who knows with that team. Then its one game on the road versus NO, Lakers, Clips, GS... It just becomes an uphill battle and in one game anything can happen.

Going from 13 or 14 to 16 isn't the end of the world either. They could have made a late push and end up close to 20ish. I just really want the boost in pick odds of 2.5% or 5% to get into the top 4.

How are the Mavs blatantly tanking? They just suck ***. They are the probably the most legitimate bad team of anyone.
I heard that they were going to shut down kyrie and luka while in the playoff hunt. That would be tanking imo. I do agree that they haven't tanked yet though.

My thoughts exactly. If they did somehow win two games in the play-in and end up 8th then our pick is 16 which is still great.

Minnesota has two tough games remaining @BRK and v. NOLA. They'll do well to finish with 41 wins, and I think that should put them in the 9 v. 10 matchup. Lakers, Warriors and Clippers should finish ahead of the Twolves. Pels need to finish strong, but are in good position as well.

Ya we are already big time winners with the wolves pick. We are playing with house money. I think I was one of the few people who didn't really believe in the wolves being contenders this year after adding Gobert (I couldn't see gobert and KAT being a good fit) but even I had the pick being like 22 or 23. Wolves have sucked worse than nearly everyone thought. Its awesome. Wolves losses were the best part of this season for me. Going to be fun rooting against cleveland, wolves, and to a lesser extent the lakers over the coming years. I really like owning other teams picks.

I also think if Dallas ends up with the 10th pick it might be a chip we can trade up for. They will want to either get more assets for a big trade or move some picks for players. Like I would bet that pick almost surely gets moved on draft night.

If we did end up with 9 and 13 one advantage would be to able to possible get the top two guys on our board at the time if we had good intel/predictions. Say the teams in the 10-12 aren't likely to go for a pg you might comfortably pass on Wallace at #9 for Hendo or whatever wing you want. Chances are OKC/Magic/Dallas aren't looking pg.

Minnesota is pretty much locked into a play-in game in the 9/10 matchup. If they lose just one game we get a lottery pick as high as 12/13 and as low as 14. If they win two in a row we get pick 15/16. Basically we are guaranteed a pick anywhere from 12-16.

That's why we're rooting for teams like Toronto, Chicago and Atlanta to pick up wins. If the Twolves miss the playoffs, their pick might float up to 13 or possibly even 12.

Any thoughts on what Dallas might want from us in return for their pick?

They can have KO. Sign and trade clarkson and give em KO. Both win now pieces.
