What are the wolves fans saying ?

They traded for Rudy , management was sure the two bigs would work ,then needed another trade ( for Conley ) to get a pass first PG, to help team chemistry , which moved the needle slightly .

Huge off-season for Wolves , I like Rudy but have never been a huge fan as some on here , but do agree with most here that KAT would be the one to move first .

I think the Fans think what could have been if the kept Kessler and all their draft picks , plus a few others , but that’s not Rudy’s fault .

Truthfully I think he might have gotten fouled, but also sold it, hard, and then didn't get back on defense quickly after, which led to the and-1.

If this was Jazz vs Nuggets and Gobert did that, I would've been really frustrated with him. The offensive board he gave up on the play before was also just a total lapse in concentration.

I love Gobert, but if I'm being brutally honest, I don't think him or Mitchell were built to handle adversity.

Thats a tough one. I was pausing it frame by frame. Cant really tell if he was fouled. I feel pretty confident that the dude who isn't jokic on the nuggets (the one who put his hand on rudys back) didn't foul him. Just touched him but no foul. Jokic and Gobert had a lot of contact with each other and maybe jokic fouled him but its hard to say. Rudy might have just realized that the way the ball was coming off the rim he wasn't going to be able to get to it so he flopped. IDK on this one.

I think the Wolves have to hope that Rudy bounces back next year to his DPOY year form. If he does, then they have more options as far as moving him or trading other players to better build around him. I think there is a good possibility that he could actually be worse next year, so maybe they try and trade him now before it becomes impossible.

We didn't get a huge sample size to say that Rudy + KAT definitely doesn't work, and maybe the fans/front office feel like they can still adjust. I personally feel like we have enough data to say it isn't great, but I never believed it would to begin with.

I think Mike should probably have another good year next year, but there is also a good possibility that he doesn't. They likely get some internal improvement from their younger players, with the best case scenario for them is that Edwards levels up. They also should hope for much better health next year.

To sum it up, I think they probably don't feel great as an 8th seed who just had a gentleman's sweep out of the first round, and who doesn't have a lot of options to improve their team. There are still quite a few things they can hope for, but not super likely to happen, and just as many things that they need to hope don't happen, that are somewhat likely to happen.

What cracked me up was KAT's attempt at "defense", you know jumping in a random direction and trying to high five his other team mate, a full yard away from Jokic and the ball. He looked like a little kid trying to cover his face as he tried to whack a tetherball. Hilarious!

To be fair to the Wolves it is nearly impossible to integrate a new player effectively when your key cogs are injured for so much of the season. Hell, look at Conley's first season here, when we were FAR better with him coming off the bench, or even just while he wasn't playing, during his big injury stretch. It took a full season and a half to figure out how to play him effectively with Mitchell and once we did we ended up with a historic season for the Jazz and the #1 record in the NBA. It will take them a while to get Rudy integrated with KAT being out for so long. If they can come back healthy next year I would expect a surge around the all-star break as they finally figure this **** out.

But yes, if they are going to move one of them, they should really move KAT. Best value and could get a better fit along-side ANT and Rudy to make their new big 3.
 
I was actually pretty impressed with the Wolves in that series. Despite not having McDaniels they made 4/5 games pretty interesting.

23/24 should be a good season for them. Dont think they need to do anything drastic IMO. If someone blows me away with a KAT offer I'd take it, but I wouldn't take a mediocre deal.

Yeah, Gobert is really bad with refs. He has a built in victim mentality when it comes to the refs which sucks. He definitely tried to flop and sell it. In real time I thought it was a much more clear foul, but the replay I can tell he flopped and get why it wasnt called.

That's one of Jokic's underrated strengths, just his physical strength. Whenever they are one on one for a rebound Jokic usually wins because he's able to move Rudy and his hands are so soft he grabs whatever he touches. When Rudy tries to move people it's incredibly obvious he's fouling, he's not strong enough like Jokic to do it subtly. Even on the rim shots Gobert is able to defend really well, a good # of them just go right back to Jokic for an easy put back.

And yeah, that **** with San Antonio was ****ing weird and we'll just never know the veracity of anyone's claims as to the issue with his quadriceps. By almost all accounts he had some beef with the org and planted his ***.

Then again, he's had leg issues ever since. *shrug*
 
A law enforcement source said Edwards picked up a chair and swung it, striking a security guard in the back. Then the thrown chair also hit a second worker. A source confirmed the incident and said both employees were injured and asked to file charges.

Minnesota has a lot of issues. This isn’t good.
