While he has some weaknesses defensively too, he's a very active defender with a contagious energy (and of course excellent rebounding).

Vando's main contribution to last season's Jazz was bringing a 100% facilitating mindset to the starting lineup at his position, which, among other things, had a lot to do with Lauri feasting on cuts and backdoors all the time. He also had a good nose for loose balls, which ties into his rebounding.

As a defender he was (and is) overrated, and I've never seen a 6'8'' finisher as bad as him in the NBA.

He's solid which you could see back in summer league too.
UDFA. Likely not drafted because he was 23.
I'd much rather be giving minutes to him than someone like Dunn.
