Warrior watch 2012

Watching the Warriors play is a truly bizarre thing for me. I have to root for them to be bad, but not tooo bad, while also rooting for Curry to be amazing because he's on my fantasy team...truly bizarre. ;)

Yeah, the whole bad, but not too bad is hard for me to wrap my head around this season. "Yes! a loss. Yes! another loss. Uh oh, better get a win here....and then lose the next game."

There was a yahoo sports article about the Warriors aggressively pursuing Dwight Howard for a one year rental. Then convince him to stay longer. I'm sure they would have to give up Ellis and a lot of other key pieces. Wonder how this would affect our pick?

We are only 6 games in and I am already obsessing about this pick!

I would say Ellis, Thompson, Wright, and 2013 Unprotected 1st Round (they will be god awful after Howard bolts)

In the league I'm in I made sure I drafted Ellis so I could keep track of GS a few rounds later I drafted David Lee. I'll be very tapped in to that team this year.

Kwame Brown's MRI revealed a torn pectoralis major (the large chest muscle that attaches to his right shoulder), which will require him to undergo surgery within the next few days, the team announced Thursday. The surgery, which has not yet been scheduled, is expected to keep him out for a minimum of three months.

I don't like the way things have started for the Ws. I'm more than a little worried about them tanking.

Good road win for GS against the Pistons. Pushes Detroit down and elevates GS into a tie for 8th worst, with another three teams barely above them. That's just what we want. There are 12 teams below .400 right now, so GS just needs to win 1 out of 3 to keep pace.

This also means GS has a good chance of winning the tie breaker with Detroit if they end up with the same record.

Another road win for the W's. And everyone else below them lost. I know the ideal spot is #8, but I want them to keep playing with some motivation.
