No, but then again neither is talking about selling high on a player a week into his career because of it.

Maybe, but it's just part of who he is. Of course he can get better at it, and I expect him to, but I don't see Ace ever having great shot selection. Not that he can't be a great player because of it, but I do expect his shooting mentality to be the kind of greatest strength/weakness type thing.

IM not sure I've seen anyone take a shot that egregious in transition from midrange in the last 10 years outside of Westbrook

If the Jazz can get a Boozer/Peterson next year and Ace has the kind of value that can you get an All-Star, it would be something I would consider.

And yes, that's early, but it's just the initial thought that jumped into my head after witnessing that BS and the fact that he hasn't actually passed the ball without taking a shot for like 10 straight possessions.

Case in point, LaMelo Ball is a great player who is absolutely held back by his shot selection and the Hornets would have been better off selling high back in his rookie deal
