Trump’s view of the culture wars is that the culture he prefers will be the only culture tolerated in the United States. This, JMO, is one reason why Trump supporters will never waver in supporting the eradication of “woke”, and other aspects of the “wrong culture”, it’s the culture war that must be won, and the political Right under Trump will see to it. Witness all the signage referring to minorities like blacks and indigenous people being 100% removed from American national parks and monuments. American history, as presented to the American public dare not be accurate, it will be sanitized to Trump’s liking.
But, I don’t believe culture wars are won by fiat. That’s absurd and cannot work in the long run. It’s like declaring “It is now illegal to stream Taylor Swift albums”. Or Prohibition. How long did that endure? Contextual signage will return.
So, in the case of the Kennedy Center, Trump isn’t fooling anyone. It was an act of supreme ego selfishness, and it represented an appalling insult to JFK.
Translation: It has been brought to my attention that due to the name change (but nobody’s telling me it’s due to the name change), but it’s been brought to my attention that entertainers are canceling left and right, and I have determined that since the name change no one wants to perform there any longer. Well, this should kneecap democracy in America. Eliminate the states’ control altogether. Nationalize elections. Make sure Blue states produce acceptable results come Election Day. What can seem at times like a daily whine about how 2020 was stolen, he can use this by now baked in belief to even further advantage by using the Big Lie to justify nationalization of elections.
I know I’m not alone in feeling we should have come up with something a long time ago that prevented having to sit and watch a very poor excuse of a human being perform a decade+ long Reality TV show and pretend it’s actually a government.
While grafting to a tune of at least 1.4 billion, and while turning the Department of Justice into a tool to punish people for attempting to hold him to account for terrible crimes against The People, and which in fact, reality confirms he committed. While flipping reality on its head, rewriting a History we don’t recognize when he relates it, because it never actually happened, it’s a work of fiction, not history at all, but a pseudohistory created to stroke the ego of a sicko, an Orwellian Big Lie.
Instead, and so far at least, in the last analysis, recognizing that, yes indeed, this is truly both bizarre and infuriating. And while we can gather with like minded patriots, defenders of democracy, in what feels like “the Revolution of the Sign Carriers”, and be enlivened and standing for Truth, the sad fact is most of the time we can only watch our screens and say “WTF!! Are we going to actually just let this broken, broken man have his way!?” Talk about a car speeding toward a cliff, and you can’t find the brakes to save your life. Or your country.

It might force one party to stop hating americans and stop doing everything in its power to destroy america. We don't need a major political party that takes the hard line stance of 15% of the population on every major issue. Democrats chose to be the political party of illegals, anti-american extremists, criminals and fraudsters.
