Greg Oden waived

It's not my money, but, I'd love for the Jazz to pick Oden up off of waivers. It's a classic low risk/high reward move. We have the roster slot, the cash wouldnt' be that much pro-rated this far into the season. He may never play basketball again, but, if he comes back healthy even half as good as he once was he's probably worth a slot on a team as a backup center.

Sometimes you have to swing for the fences, all this pitch will cost us is some cash.

Swing away Greg Miller, swing away.

High risk is a bit of an understatement...

Years in the league: 3

Games played: 82

He's literally been injured for 2/3 of his pro career. Bogut is an ironman compared to this guy.

That is just sad. I hope he still makes a comeback. What would it hurt to have him on our roster at this point.

Can you imagine that you have a choice between Greg Oden or Kevin Durant??? At the time it made sense but hindsight is always 20/20.....

I also think we should pick up Greg Oden. Here is a guy who can do what it takes to win. He'll grab the rebounds and put the basket in the hole. Greg Oden was the 1st round pick in 2007. He then didn't play much, but if the Jazz Give him what they have, it should be pretty good to see what happens. My Only request is that the bush isn't beaten here, we've had many bad centers before, so hoepfully he works out for the Jazz.

I'll bet Paul Allen punches himself in the balls every time OKC comes to town.

Would that be the biggest comeback from injury ever? It might be. I hope he can. Not sure we have the roster spot for another Big though.
