Jazz Playoff Watch

the Clippers went into New Orleans and turfed it.

espn bottom line said that several players on the Clippers have said that the Vinny Del Negro has lost his team and the players want a change. With less than 20 games left --ha ha.

I will ignore the temptation to blast the spoiled players, and the chance to criticize Cris Paul and focus on the idea that KOC's #5 declaration may actually be attainable.

I had heard that too. Guess we should give Ty some credit, as KOC did, for having 14 guys that deserve playing time and for playing all of them. Winning helps, of course, as do the injuries to Raja and Howard. I feel kind of sorry for Jeremy; he's the odd man out.

I find it disgusting that guys who are getting paid millions of dollars may not play as hard because they dont like their coach.

Yeah, they "just wanna win" right?

You'd think Chris Paul would step up and be a leader and tell the team "Look, I don't give a damm who is coaching. We are trying to win here!"

Same here, I will avoid the temptation to say that I think Chris Paul is a selfish punk who gets way too much pub but never comes through in the playoffs, and that this whole Lob City crap is just crap, and that nobody should be surprised that the Clippers are not so great, and that Vinny Del Negro should have never even been considered to be a head coach at the NBA level.

I'm just not going to do that.

There are 2 teams I'm worried about if we play them in the 1st round: Dallas and Lakers

The other 5 we can beat.

I'm actually not so worried about LA this year.

for me the team I want no part of is Dallas. I feel like on paper we should match up well against them but we just don't seem to know how to defend them well at all. The next team I want no part of would be OKC. I think by the time the regular season is over the Spurs will have no energy left thanks to the condensed season, and they will probably be dealing with injuries like in normal years. As far as the Lakers go, they aren't what they used to be. With out Odom they are not as big a problem as they once were. We also finally have the length to combat theirs.

I think that if we can avoid Dallas and OKC, we got a chance.

Actually we can beat Dallas, but not in the 1st round.

There is no way Dallas and Lakers will lose in the 1st.

Yes, we can have a good battle with Lakers, but Kobe is still strong and the refs will do their job.

But late in the playoffs when madness begin everything is possible.

When is the last time that we've beaten Dallas again? The team is seriously our kryptonite.
