I know its a long shot, but why would he not come back? If he came back we would be more contender than ANY other team he could join. We all know about the bitter split, but unless Dwill is in it for endorements now, the Jazz are his best bet for championship in the next four years.

With the deep pockets and willingness to go into luxury tax territory year after year I don't think the Mavs or Lakers will take as long as you might think to reload. It might be a little more difficult for the Mavs due to market size, but the Lakers have such a storied franchise, I don't see them having a problem.

Lakers would have to trade Bynum for him. Williams would have two years to beat OKC, Chicago, and Miami with a declining Kobe, Pau, Meta, and awful bench. Good luck there, Deron.

If I were Deron and wanted to win a championship then I'd look at young teams with talent: Utah, Denver, Portland, Indiana, Minnesota, and whoever wins the Anthony Davis sweepstakes.
