The legend of King Arthur is that he became King because he pulled a sword out of a stone. He was the only one who could do it. So, the picture of King Arthur not being able to open a bottle of pickles contradicts the myth. However, according to the myth it was more of a "divine" thing then a feat of strength thing...

That's a "Disney" version I think. However, the myth is rooted in Medieval literature and legend and has brought such fanciful characters as Merlin, Guinevere, Excalibur (swords are more characters than objects in medieval literature), Lancelot, and Gawain.

This is true, however, I think he just doesn't have the required information to deconstruct the irony of the joke.
Thanks for the explanation. I feel ok now, because it was my eyes. I know the sword in the stone story but I didn't recognize the bottle(or jar) I thought it was some kind of chips bag etc.
Actually the sword in the stone story is well known in Turkey because it's used so many times as if it's a turkish legend in some lame turkish historic/epic movies. Battal Gazi, Kara Murat etc takes out the sword from the stone in those movies, instead of King Arthur.
You are right on that, but it's a very disturbing feeling not having any clue about something.
Anyway, here is one I liked.
