Last year I got bounced when Seattle beat NYG. Thought that was a gimme.

No shame in that. I think that game ousted about 1/3 of the guys in our league. I was fortunate on two of my games, but was looking at a few more tough ones before I ended up with a surprise early victory. The same strategy I used last year may oust me early this time...we'll see.
 
When is the deadline for the first pick? I can't remember my password for now. I'll try later again.
 
23 people so far. Sweet. I'm thinking tomorrow before 6:00 Mountain time is the deadline to enter (the contest, not the deadline for the first pick), but even if there isn't another entry this is the biggest year yet.

I'm going out on a limb with the Vikings. They're typically very strong at home, have a good, if not very good, defense and Jax sucks.

I thought about that pick as well but I didn't want to get too crazy in week 1. That and I really wanted to pick my team (Bears) and feel confident about it and this might be the only game close to a guaranteed win on our schedule.

Desperately wanted to take Minny and get them off the board. But had to go safe in week one with Houston. Now watch Tannehill wreck my whole theory.
