Following potential 2013 draftees

You can never really have too many shooters though.

I don't know about that. Depends on if those shooters can do other things. I don't want a team of 7 korvers and and 8 foyes. I want guys who can do other things. If they all can shoot, then great. But I'm not loading my team up with a bunch of guys who can only shoot. I need the Carrolls, kanters, evans, and Haywards of the worlds. Plus I think its better to have just a couple designated shooters, like foye and like who Marvin was supposed to be. I don't want everyone standing on the three point line.

Of course.

So after tonight's game who would still use Kanter to move up to get Bazz?

I certainly wouldn't.

Probably not. I've always been big fans of both, though. Like I said before the game, I'm not sure who I'd rather have. But I give the slight edge to Kanter right now.

What would it take to get into the top 3 this year? We'd need the 2nd pick to get Shabazz wouldn't we?

I'm calling it now, Shabazz would not become anything more than a Maggette type player.

Let the flaming begins, but we'll see in 4 years' time.

He's dropped a bit on Ford's big board (#8 currently), but I still have a hard time seeing him fall out of the top 3 come draft day.

It was something I brought up as discussion. Not because I would necessarily do it, but I thought it was an interesting idea...unlike the usual crazy trade ideas that get thrown around.

Whoahh.... you??? Serious??? If it was anyone else I have have neg'd.

Didn't know you were that fond of me lol.

Bazz is a legit talent. A week or two ago I asked where everyone would take Favors and Kanter in this draft and I believe PKM's answer was:

1. Favors
2. Noel
3. Shabazz
4. Kanter

Doesn't necessarily mean Kanter would not surpass Shabazz in time though.

My thing is, a tough, skilled, big man like Kanter who can score inside & outside, with solid defensive skills, is just so hard to come by that you don't give up.

I'm actually surprised PKM put Noel in front of Kanter....

I LOVE Kanter, and always have (unlike some on here). Just to be clear. He's the type of guy that could compete with Love and Dwight for rebounding titles every year when given the minutes, while also being a legit scorer and defender.
