Cy was one of the epic posters. Cy, HeavenHarris, Dalaman, Trout, and Bluerockers. All epic posters easily top 10 best on these site that all have had "perma" bans. (I realize some of them are back) If Jazzhacks was a larger site competeing with Jazzfanz I bet the mods would be more reluctant to ban these legendary posters because they would bring their epicness to another competing Utah Jazz forum.

It's ironic that you should mention not understanding a joke. But that's okay. I'll chalk it up to misplaced anger, or drinking too many cosmopolitans, or (most likely) both. It's prolly my fault for not putting a smiley emoticon on the end of my post.

I'm a little surprised you negged me (well, not really), but I POS repped you back to get the karma flowing in the right direction.

See, it's like this: I like Cy. Quality poster. Board's better with him here. But that isn't a free pass. There are rules, whether you agree with them or not. If you disregard them, you run the risk of known consequences. I know it's more fun to characterize the mods as a bunch of blood thirsty power trippers, but that's just not how it is. The "oppressed masses" shtick is played out...

Being an "epic poster" is not one of my concerns. It's just a sports message board.

New rule proposal:

If someone has been convicted with creating and using an Alt account, ban the said Alt account and let the BOARD decide what to do with the actual account of the convicted poster.

I don't believe the banning is the only way(not the best way that's for sure) to penalize the Alt crimes. We could neg-rep the culprit(like stoning), change his name, give him a humiliating sig or avatar, or shorter suspensions etcetera...

I'm calling for the mods and Jason to deliberate about this.
