lately I have been playing Homefront on my PS3. Is a fun game. It is based in the not to distant future (late 2020s). N Korea has grown and America has fallen on horrible financial/economic times. N. Korea absobered S. Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Phillipines...eventually they invaded the US and got at least as far as the Mississippi. You start off as a resistance fighter in CO.

Right now I am at a point in the game where I am trying to get to CA from CO. Have to go thru Utah and the most crazy violent Americans in the game are in Utah haha. The game paints the Utahns as Sadistic. To the point that your character has to start killing them all because they are nuts. Makes me smile.

I like first person shooters. I play Fransformers (FOC, WFC), Resistance, Army of two, Dead Space 3, Call of Duty..this just seemed right up that ally.

FPS are fun, but they get so boring. You've played 1, you've played them all.

You are right that they do start mimicing each other in certian respects, but I still enjoy them. Sci-Fi, fantasy shooters and RPS games are what I enjoy.

I love playing FPS online just cuz of the competition aspect, but hate single player FPS. Not fun at all to me anymore.

Only single player I will play are RPG's for the most part.

So I borrowed a WiiU for a few days so I could play Super Mario 3D World......fun game....but that new controller with the screen Nintendo dreamed up:

is just awful. Completely unnecessary. Uncomfortable. Distracting. Ugly. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it.
