What's new

Stevie Wonder's not blind? You decide.

It's very possible that he is mostly blind but can see vague blurry shapes or something like that. There are plausible explanations for the majority of the "proof" in that "article".

I don't know, blinds can do amazing things. I could believe that he has developed ultra senses about movement and noise around him. If you look closely, you can notice that he realizes a movement right before him(McCartney running). He probably heard and sensed that a running guy bumped to the microphone and he tried to catch it with a reflex, just like a normal person would do. He also didn't look directly at the mic and couldn't even catch it with his hand anyway, as far as I can see he saved it with his forearm.

The other instances are not even that suspicious to me.

Edgewriter, I can't remember now but maybe you can, there was this blind guy with extremely sensitive hearing and feeling abilities in one of the novels of Stephen King. He could do amazing things even he was completely blind.

By the way, check this guy out, he was born blind and has never ever seen any light. Yet he has a good perspective/color understanding and he can draw better than most.

maybe they just realized very early on that his future's so bright he had to wear shades...

I gotta agree with ECTYA on this one. Most talented guitar player I know is blind and it took me about a week to figure out he was blind. Also, why would anyone spend their life pretending to be blind, especially an uber talented dude like Stevie Wonder?

If Stevie Wonder can see, he would know he's a big fat whale and his helpers dress him ridiculous.
