Rising Stars Challenge - 7 PM MST - TNT

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I find watching a team like the Spurs a hell of a lot more entertaining than the no defense sloppy selfish chuckfest that these all star games are.

I had this exact thought. Why not play hard and celebrate the game for what it is, a game with both offense and defense.

Pretty lame game as always. Antetokounmpo playing at about 98%. He would probably play fullcourt defense if they would let him, and I would love that because I like watching good defenders as much as I like watching good offenders. We've all known Wiggins is the next star, and I love that he stuffed Oladipo with his ball-hogging showboating. Wish Rudy would play at least 90% on D. It's hard for these guys to know just how hard to play.

Yeah, there is something about a good insult that excites me too.

I was too young to remember them when I was little, but a couple of years ago I came across All-Star games from the 90's and those guys played hard. Especially early on in the game. They forced the offense to run halfcourt sets and ish. Way more entertaining imo, as we are all agreeing.

Let's all laugh at the fact that QSH bet a total of $600 on this game.

This is, like, serious?

Although, it can tend to be a bit more predictable and formulaic than a regular game, so maybe not all that bad.

But still - LOL

Thats why Gobert looks to give the ball to Exum on pick n rolls instead of burke or anyone else on the court because he is the only one on the team that consistently tries to get him the ball. Jazz players miss Gobert for easy dunks so much.

Wouldn't it be funny that a player genuineously took the game seriously and started ranting at all the players on his team. He would immediately become my favorite player in this league.
