https://twitter.com/DarnellMayberry/status/568512570283307011 this dood says we got multiple picks and Tibor Pleiss... who is likely an all-star #winning
Pleiss putting up solid numbers this season. He's 7'2." Could be a solid backup to Rudy.

nateboz - you are using old numbers. This season he is averaging 12/5 in 21 minutes. But obviously the value of the trade is in the #1 pick. Let's see where that lands. I'd have a hard time believing we'd settle for anything less than a lottery pick.

The tank is officially on ........................Jazz will be one of the poorest scoring teams in the NBA.Gobert isn't ready for offense.Favors isn't consistent and all the scoring burden falls unto Hayward.

Why would wasting a third overall who can score 20 and get 10 rebounds pick for a future mid to late first be outstanding. I swear this fan base. At least we have Hayward and Joe Ingles who are essentially the same player. Glad we brought in KOC to mess this up.
You would rather get nothing? How much would you bitch if he walked out the door for nothing in 1.5 years? Or got a max offer this off season that was not matched?

Why is everybody talking about lamb? I haven't seen his name even once in the tweets and news about this deal. Enes is gone and we've got a crappy late 1st round pick. Ridiculous...

DL: "Bros I told the media I needed a talented young player all week, give me Lamb"
Presti: "Nah brah"
DL: "I need something"
Presti: "How bout a Euro scrub, I'm sure Dalamon will think he is amazing"
DL" OK whatever"

I'm sorry, but I'm not very thrilled by this. It's hard to get excited about a mid-lottery pick and 2nd rounder. Yeah, so we get another Rodney Hood type player who will be a middling rotation player and someone who won't make the rotation plus some international player nobody knows. Big deal. Until I hear more information on this, I can't help but feel very disappointed about how this turned out.

I'm ok with this. Kanter's good, but the wild card that is "He's gonna be so good" turns into a deuce if they're not consistent by the end of the middle of the first year.

Have you ever heard of something called Sunk Cost Fallacy? Please look it up. Where would Kanter go in a re-draft?

He is one of the worst defenders in the NBA and advanced metrics generally say the worst center in the league. He only has value because he has some unusual talents. Maybe in 10 years we'll look back and say we should have kept him, but you really want to commit 40 million to a guy who doesn't want to be here and is holding back Rudy?

And Kanter was? Favors has been our most consistent player all year. Hayward has been better lately but Favors is not far behind and played best when Gobert was starting with him.
