If you could only listen to five songs for the rest of you life - What would they be?

OK, here's what I finally came to. This could alter at any moment, but probably 3 of these artists would be on any list like this I made: View: https://youtu.be/Tihj-HbRx-Y?si=JrUX71C4nvvyBW3C View: https://youtu.be/iLScicF9akI?si=JGx4LEuP5whq3AJG View...

If you could only listen to five songs for the rest of you life - What would they be?

I hadn't realized before how much PIL was influenced by Alan Vega and Martin Rev, AKA Suicide. I know the feeling. Well, not entirely, my second (and current) wife is still alive, and I wouldn't really care if my first wife died, but sometimes I listen to songs that remind me of my son's death...

If you could only listen to five songs for the rest of you life - What would they be?

This is tough, I'm going to have to really think about this. As someone above said, 5 albums would be easier.

Last good song you listened to?

This is the glam rock alter ego band of Saltatio Mortis. I have never seen so much spiked pink leather before. View: https://youtu.be/1n_xf0BcdJI?si=YOJDzf4psdmTvKEE

If you could only watch one movie for the rest of your life - What would it be?

I haven't watched those, but I keep hearing about them as a series. I think it's a fascinating idea, using the same actors in 3 sequential films and aging them appropriately - the movies were filmed 9 years apart, so they aged the characters up 9 years in each of them. Linklatter planned it that...

First Chinese player in Jazz history!

Or even Ken Liu. A paper menagerie would be extremely helpful, at least during practice.

If you could only watch one movie for the rest of your life - What would it be?

Baby Driver, tho. Man. What a movie. I can even get over the Kevin Spacey casting, and the weird character and plot points, just because it's so pretty. Here, if you haven't seen it, watch the opening scene. View: https://youtu.be/6XMuUVw7TOM?si=13TtFAX-fiDlFDaJ If they had an Oscar for stunt...

If you could only watch one movie for the rest of your life - What would it be?

That line "a movie that has no business being as good as it is" pretty much sums up Edgar Wright's career, doesn't it? Shaun, Hot Fuzz, World's FREAKING End, Baby Driver... All should have been lightweight fare, but they're some of the best movies of their type ever made. World's End, while it...

If you could only watch one movie for the rest of your life - What would it be?

First time I saw it was in the theater, I walked out and looked around and wondered if everything was fake. It definitely took you in, in a way that a sequel, no matter how good it was (and they were... ok) could match. I liked Animatrix, too.

Last good song you listened to?

That is awesome! It's like stories about Lenny Bruce, or City Lights Bookstore in SF. Or, hell, Biafra and Alternative Tentacles records themselves. Not the best recording of this song, but the only one with a censored title. View: https://youtu.be/TruUC-kvu5E?si=mAC_rydPMJuVDDui (I love...

Here she is covering one of my favorite Elvis Costello songs, with Elvis playing guitar. View: https://youtu.be/TNy4tmTRQC8?si=EHJvMS2qLBA1XtGQ And here he is doing the same song himself, with the Roots backing him. View: https://youtu.be/wY71zqHfHKI?si=-7DtoZLvGNB_sJNF

If you could only watch one movie for the rest of your life - What would it be?

I love SportsNight, it was the first Sorkin show I saw. They had it on Comedy Central for a while. It's available to acquire through, ahem, alternate means. Have you ever seen Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip? It was Sorkin's followup to West Wing, basically the same set up as 30 Rock...

If you could only watch one movie for the rest of your life - What would it be?

If I had to pick just one... Crap. Princess Bride? Fish Called Wanda? Seven Samurai? Pulp Fiction? Stop Making Sense? Alien or Aliens? RRR? Everything Everywhere All At Once? Probably either Princess Bride or Everything Everywhere All at Once, because they combine so many different types of...
