Lauri is as good as gone. Playing with mostly rookie deal guys will only keep his asset value sinking. There's no point for now to keep him. I expect two first rounders and salary fillers as teams will know this exact thing. Maybe Jazz will get someone decent young guy in a trade as well, and...
This is stupid af. Collin isn't super valuable, because there's a lot of small scoring guards with awful defense... but this kind of trade makes almost fun of the poor guy, because he is still really damn efficient. F you Jazz office you suck.
No. I've been saying for past two seasons Lauri will be traded earliest at 2026 trade deadline. Now that he had a bad season I'm even more certain about that. Originally my thought process was they want to see his fit with the 2025 pick and see if the new piece is a massively NBA ready and soon...
Ahh... Well I'll be damned. I thought they have lost their mind and was so in the zone of recliner of rage, I completely forgot to check that out before lashing out!
What the actual F is this? Where is Caruso? These people voting these things are such casuals, lmao. Alex's on/off ratings are insane. He single handedly can enter into the game and completely turn around 10 point deficit by his contagious effort and energy. Dude can ball deny ducking Nikola...
I think some of them stays if they can't sell Lauri with the price Danny hopes for. They can't be trading all the other vets while keeping Lauri, bc it most probably means there's only a low change of his value going up on becoming season vs. increased chance of the value of that asset getting...
Worse. They didnt tank properly from the go, and then Ainge helped Wolves become better by trading Conley there to stabilize them. Worsening those Wolves assets. I give D- for Ainge.
The only wày I will believe in fair lottery is 1000 ping pong balls in a lotto machine, with a live stream and so we see the amount of balls match the odds. They don't do it bc it makes fixing practically impossible.
This isn't very hard. Already mentioned earlier the sad fact of either small or just very bad defenders running point (Sexton, JC, George). Their ball security isn't very good..Lots of turnovers creates transition buckets. Add the fact how guys like JC or George mostly haven't even tried to stop...
Jazz has historically bad back court defenders, what else could happen? It's all on purpose. They traded away the only really good one in Kris Dunn. Clarkson, Sexton, George that has gotten tons of minutes in these tanking seasons are all god awful defenders and too small as well.
E: And yeah...
