Which vets to extend in 2026 if they are still here

Lol, I meant Collier. Been operating on too little sleep as I'm in the process of getting a new business off the ground and still trying to maintain my current workload.

Which vets to extend in 2026 if they are still here

Sexton is a good shooter and has improved a lot all around, but when I see the offense run under Tre, it makes watching the game more enjoyable. And that says a lot because Tre has a lot to improve on.

    Support would be appreciated!

It says children under 3 are not allowed. That excludes most of us on JFC...

What grade would you give Ainge for his draft selections?

Yeah, his stats were really bad, and this was during a tanking season when he had ample opportunity to show something. I don't have my hopes up.

    How bad/good is Cody Williams?

First he needs to be assertive. He has shown some glimpses of talent. He definitely has the size and athleticism. He just needs confidence and some fire. How he responds in summer/fall will be telling. I didn't want to draft him as he looked unpolished in college. Easy to say in hindsight, but...

Game Thread NBA Draft Lottery - May 12, 2025

For a NBA owner, from an investment standpoint only, with the current revenue sharing model, they would want as high as ratings as possible, and ratings have been down. They want high ratings with the new tv deals. Flagg in Utah would not move ratings up at all.

Yeah, I'm fine with odds, but there should be a limit on how often you qualify to jump up.

No doubt, and they need matchups on national broadcast days that bring in high ratings. Otherwise they lose out on future tv deals. They need the ratings. I'm sure with revenue sharing all the teams will make a lot off of these "decisions".

Game Thread NBA Draft Lottery - May 12, 2025

Until they do the draft in front of the cameras, I'll continue to think it is rigged. The Luka trade was too suspect, which is why I, along with many others, believed they'd be rewarded in the lottery. The Spurs must have some damn good blackmail evidence against Adam Silver as no team is that...

Why the Jazz were so bad defensively?

Bad shots and turnovers lead to a lot of easy buckets that are hard to defend. The Jazz also have a number of subpar defenders. Just a lot of poor/inexperienced decision making. In tanking years it doesn't matter, but if there isn't a major turnaround you have to start looking at coaching.

Been listening to the audiobook on road trip w wife over the past year. Still a couple hours to go. Project Hail Mary could also be the title of Utah's tank season.
