It's just strange. EVERYONE knows Huerter is going to be gone by #21, and yet he's saying we'll pass on him and he'll get picked #24.

It's like he's been living in a cave somewhere.
 
It's like Tony's trying to avoid people reading too much into his mock since he's been so close to the workouts, etc, so he picked the 1 guy who did not workout for us.

I don't know what Memphis would want from New York that could make a trade for #4 work.

#4 and Parsons for #9, Hardaway Jr and filler? Doesn't sound attractive to me if I'm in charge of Memphis.

The fact that we are not having a draft party tomorrow in SLC could be a coincidence or it might mean the team is looking at lots of trades and thinks there is a decent chance of a trade. But maybe I am reading way too much into that.
 
If we draft him, we need a fanbase-wide PSA that it is Hutchison not HutchiNson. Even Tony and his editor missed it lol.

I'm gonna wait until I see where they're picked. One year I picked Elfrid Payton when he was mocked at like 30, and then he was picked 10th and that was no bueno lol.

My mind is in idea overload. Bear with me...

Grizz get Courtney Lee (valuable vet) and #9
Knicks get Burks and #4
Jazz get Parsons, Nkilitina, #32

We actually use the Joe Johnson trade exception to get Nkilitina prior to July 1. The rest of the trade gets completed after the July Moratorium. We would have to renounce Thabo, Jerekbo and Udoh (unless Memphis or New York wants one of those guys which would actually make the trade easier for us). .
 
Yeah I'd be torn too.. I can see arguments from both sides. Bagley's the safer pick. He'll give you 20 and 10 for the next 10 years. Doncic is the Home Run pick. He could help your team reach new heights.

Again, you’re wrong.

People think he could be gone by 21. Nobody (with the exception of a team or two) knows for sure that he will be gone at 21.

I don't like this trade at all. I wouldn't want to take on two years of Parson's toxic contract just for Nkilitina and #32.

Yeah, I'm not sold either. I just can't see the Knicks taking on Parsons' contract just to move up 4 spots in the draft.

It would take a late lottery pick to shed Parsons' contract.
