don't think he was particularly intended to be. We did Jonas a solid by letting him go so he could actually play and not be stuck at the end of the bench in addition to saving $$

What antics? Celebrating that he just beat us after we let him walk? You gotta admit, we deserved that one. His celebration seems pretty genuine. Like he couldn’t believe he had just won the game. Honestly, has he ever had a game winning shot before? It’s not like he’s Kobe or Jordan...
Not sure if Niang is any better. How much money did we save by keeping Niang over Jonas?

Last night vs the Knicks in 18 minutes of PT Jonas was +34 with 8 points and 7 boards. In Jazz alum news the Knicks are having Kanter and Trey coming off the bench.
The story is that Jonas was one of the guys who spoke out about minutes in the exit interview, so the Jazz figured it would be better to just release him.
