2019 Trade Deadline Discussion

How is @NUMBERICA going to figure out how to brilliantly get them to stop being slaughtered by 5 out? Offense can't score with enough charge to counter, with counterbalance. Give it to Rubio when the short clock turns long? **** that.

Coach needs to find a solution or the team needs to go away

I find it absolutely fascinating that the Nets haven't extended Dinwiddie yet. He is ready to sign a 4 year $48 million deal. He has said he will test unrestricted free agency if they don't extend him.

If they don't intend to keep him and he probably walks in the summer, I bet we could get him. The kid can score.

I don't think he ever said he knew what to do. I think he simply said that what you don't do is trade DM.

Phoenix isnt going to wait until January 15 to trade Ariza. And dumping Exum for an expiring is short sighted in my opinion.

IMO dumping Exum, who is not a good player and on a bad contract, is how the Jazz get better. They can try again with the cash. It could go towards a guy like Dinwiddie.

The Jazz biggest problem right now and the main reason we aren't winning is...

Gobert and Mitchell.

Both are struggling. Mitchell has been hurt all season and struggling to find consistency. It will happen.

Gobert has struggling in the pick and roll more than last year and... He defense is not nearly as good as last year most games.

Other players are struggling but those are our main two players and the main factor for winning.

But I trust them both to improve this year and get things going.

The rest of the team just needs to hit the open shots they are getting.

I'm ready to be out of the Exum business. Here is a game we can all play... Who would you rather have on Exum's contract - 3/30? Ariza? Bjelica? Van Vleet? IDK the list can get pretty long.

Once we trade Exum, people on here will just turn on somebody else. We aren't losing because Exum. We lose because we simply arent that good especially the starters.

We went on that streak last year for a number of reasons. #1 Gobert came back. #2 Donovan exploded from nowhere. #3 Rubio played amazing. #4 Every other role player stepped up.

This year, none of that is true and we dont have some 7 foot beast about to come back from injury. Mitchell is playing decently so it's not like he isn't even there. We can't expect everybody to just start playing amazing basketball. That's unrealistic.

Feeling pretty down fellas. This season sucks. Feel like I'm gonna have a stroke that matches the team.

It’s less about Exum blame and more about the fact that he has a bigger contract than his play justifies and the coach doesn’t have the patience to let him play through mistakes and develop.

He makes mistakes... so do other guys. Jae threw a lazy pass that got picked off and he didn’t even jog back to help on defense. He is allowed to work through a mental and effort mistake... had that been Dante he would have been benched for a week. The guy needs some room to develop and it’s clear we aren’t really willing to do that. So let’s move on.

This is what I said. It makes sense for all teams

KCP won't play over Korver or O'Neale probably. For our development, should he play over Grayson? So we pretty much immediately say the Exum signing was a failure and trade him for an expiring. And we say the Grayson pick was a failure too if expiring KCP gets what should be his minutes.

This isn't going to happen. DL has too much pride to admit failures that quickly.

Isn't gobert posting career high numbers in most categories?

Also, when ever someone posts that graph showing points added in offense and points saved on defense gobert is always the best at both categories and is always way up in the upper right corner by himself.

I agree about DM though.
