I agree with what appears to be the Jazz's off season plans

He will have a lower usage rate, but he will also be less of the focus for opposing defense. That and Stevens offense complements his game. I think he will still get similar #s.

Lets see if the things off the court impact his game. I'm not convinced Hayward is a guy that will succeed in a stressful environment like Boston.
 
I was looking through summer of '16 threads. I told y'all we should have traded Gordo for #3 and taken Buddy Hield. Gordo ended up walking with nothing in return. Hield this year? 20.5 PPG, 5.2 RPG, 1.2 APG, 47.4 FG%, 44.6 3FG%, 86.2 FT%... ON A ROOKIE CONTRACT. Those numbers would look mighty freaking fine on the Jazz right now.

@Tom Pitt Remember when you told me in summer 2016 that Hield was unlikely to become anywhere near as good as Haywood? And you would call me on the bad take in the future? Lol

I too said the same thing and was flamed for it quite a bit.
