Lets have a thread to discuss the NCAA Tournament.

Here's the bracket... https://sports.cbsimg.net/images/co...nament/brackets/printable/cbs-sports-2019.pdf

There are a few good games at Vivint this week, including potential 2nd round matchups Gonzaga v. Syracuse and Auburn v. Kansas.

I don't follow all the teams well enough to do a tight bracket, but I'll be surprised if both Duke and North Carolina don't make the Final Four. After beating Tennessee twice in the past two weeks, Auburn is a bit underrated and could give UNC a real run in the Sweet 16 if they get past Kansas. Oregon has also been playing well and could pull a couple upsets to make the Sweet 16.

Also, where are some of the best sports bars and venues to watch the games around SLC, in case it's better to eat well and watch on TV instead of paying over $300 for a lower bowl ticket at Vivint?

There is also a Jazzfanz group on ESPN's Tournament Challenge site if people want to join that.

13/16 on day 1, all my sweet 16 teams still around, feeling pretty good. Missed on Minnesota, Murray St, and Villanova.

I'm looking for Oregon to upset Wisconsin tomorrow. Hoping Lou King has a good tournament and enters the draft.

That Louisville loss hurt. Admittedly I only took them to go deep because of their connection with Donovan, probably not the way to go.

anyone here in the Jazzfanz group? I joined and filled out my bracket just in the nick of time yesterday - I'm not sure who's running it - it's a VERY small group this year, I was the third member. Seemed to have saved the password from earlier entries, or else a password is not required. I think as long as your bracket is filled out, you can still join the group.

Oregon pulling the upset over Wisconsin. Kenny Wooten has been a force defensively in the paint. Louis King making a few 3s. Not a bad game for him with 17 points.

UK did not look good today. They had a hard time scoring against an undersized, undertalented Wooford team. If Herro isn't shooting well, they don't score well enough as a team to get much further in the tourney. Houston could take them out in the next round.

Florida State is just too big and athletic for Murray State. They have NBA-sized players at most positions. This should be the end of the road for Ja Morant.

Did anyone catch that Va Tech-Liberty game. Its like VA Tech kept giving Liberty a chance but Liberty kept bricking 3's. It was pretty bad.

Florida State has NBA-sized athletes across the board. They're going to give Gonzaga all they can handle and might take them down. The ACC was a dominant conference this year.

Houston should be even odds to beat UK.

It's impressive that Gonzaga is able to hang physically with Florida State. The game is a track meet. Gonzaga isn't getting much at the rim, but they're knocking down jumpers at a high rate.

Brandon Clarke has a few nice defensive plays, but isn't much of a factor offensively so far.
