Phoenix Suns watch

So I think most likely scenario ends up being the Lakers in the first round. They’re probably most likely in the play-in, and if not yet, the Clippers tanking will force Denver’s hand who will give Portland a win. I don’t think the Lakers beat the Warriors, and I don’t think the league in any way allows SAS or MEM to beat the Lakers.

I think a Laker team with Lebron and AD will beat GSW.

So do I understand this at all? I can't see the Lakers being our opponent in our first series. Even with all the NBA thumbs on the scales. Lakers will not be in the play-in. Nuggets do win. SAS out. We play Warriors. Not good for us.

LAL are currently in the play-in. It requires Dallas or Portland to keep losing to change that. LA would have to win out.

Man, the Clippers surprised me by tanking tonight. Given how much seeding is uncertain I would assume they would aim for the best seed possible. I guess they are trying to avoid the Lakers as best they can...

If the clippers end up in the 4 seed and the Lakers end up in the 8 seed, which is super possible after the Clippers shamelessly tanked tonight to manipulate the seedings, the west 1 seed is literally the worst possible seed to have in the entire playoffs.

The NBA already has a problem with teams sandbagging the regular season, and - spoiler warning - it's not going to get any better after this garbage.

Assuming clippers and Lakers are good, then it's a bad seeding.

If Denver beats Portland they have a likely first round matchup against the Lakers. Doubt they want that but also the Clippers would have to lose against the Thunder for them to stay at 3.

Nah, if Denver wins they clinch the 3rd seed. They have the tiebreaker over the Clippers.

I think LA will best GS... but it could go either way. Things took a bad turn tonight.

Who was the foul on supposedly? No one touched him. Ridiculous.
We should honestly be glad the Suns won that game at this point.

With the Clippers being cowards and tanking tonight, if the Blazers had beaten the Suns, they would have rested starters against Denver on Sunday, which would have resulted in the Nuggets finishing 3rd and Clippers finishing 4th.
