His value will never be lower. We should call Philadelphia as soon as possible.

Bogdanovic/Clarkson/30 for Simmons

Maybe Conley wants to go there and we keep pick 30 in the deal by adding Conley.

Simmons fits our timeline and he is a great defender. I know he isn’t a favorite around here but it’s definitely worth exploring.

I wouldn't mind it but the way our fanbase acts it's a non starter imo
 
You can't have Rudy and Simmons on the floor in the playoffs. Wouldn't work. Now this would work:

Simmons
Don
Royce/Joe
Bojan
3 pt shooting center

So you had to start another thread to propose a Simmons trade. He had 5 points tonight in game seven Granted he had 13 assist. So we lose two of our top scorers and heck throw in a pick too. Have you forgot how Simmons has attacked Rudy and DM. Dude can not even make a jump shot. I give you that he is a good defender but there is a reason why Philly is going home. He has a lot to do with it. No thanks and like I said before I would puke and stop being a Jazz fan if he came to Utah. He might be my least favorite player in the league.

I was just coming to bring this up. I would do it in a heartbeat for a reasonable price. His defense alone would be worth it as we already have scoring and outside shooting.

Yep, Simmons/Gobert would be suffocating defensively. Mitchell will pickup the scoring and at that point just need to add a scorer in FA.
 
Simmons shot 0/0 in the 4th quarter of all of their last 4 games. Hack-a-Simmons is a thing that exists and works. Tonight they had Hill handling the point to end the game because of this. Simmons is a douchebag and is even worse than Gobert on offense.

No mother****ing way.

What are you responding to. I was replying to the comment about pairing Simmons with a center that can shoot the 3, which is what they have in Philly right now and didn't work. So why would we think it would work here?

Oh okay.

Well, I think Bojan is a better true shooter than anything they have.
Don is a much better scorer than anything they have.
Royce isn't a shooter, but he can shoot as well as Thybulle or some of the other guys they have.

You throw a shooting center with that bunch, that could work until the last few minutes when Ben has to sit.
