Amin Elhassen is usually a little too smarmy and presumptuous for me, but this morning he started his segment on the Utah Jazz on his Sirius/XM NBA show with the quote above, and he couldn't be more right. He said the fact that the Dallas crowd was actually chanting "MVP" for Jalen freaking Brunson was unsurprising because over an 82 game season the Utah Jazz can make anyone seem like an MVP. He's not wrong. Sometimes I feel (irrationally, i know) like nobody outside the fanbase understands our problems, but they clearly do. We can't guard anyone. An uncomfortably large part of me wants this series to end soon in a loss so this savagely disappointing roster can be finally, mercifully flushed.
