Trump's Coup Attempt

That “actor” was a 1/6 insurrectionist and provided information to the FBI, and avoided any jail time himself, as a result of his cooperation. Given that fact, seems hypocritical to be the one crying crocodile tears in that cell…

“According to mistakenly unsealed court documents, Straka avoided jail time after providing “significant information” to the FBI. Straka has tried to claim that he was not a “snitch.” But the court documents, which show that he cooperated at each of his three meetings with the FBI, tell a different story.

On Friday, despite all his rage, Straka was still just a rat in a cage”.

What did it say?
Hmmm. Seems like the poster changed the share settings so you can’t see it. She talks to a MAGA at CPAC who says that he’s dropped T-Mobile to go with Patriot Mobile. Apparently it’s a MAGA a cellphone startup. He doesn’t know what the coverage or service is like, but he wants to support a company with “his values.”

It’s one big grift.

Slap MAGA on something, anything, and some dumbasses will buy it.

A Utah based apparel company was removing the "Made in China" tags from their shirts and stamping the shirts with "Made in the USA."

The name of the company? Lions not Sheep. They had a bunch of that ****** faux patriotic slogan garbage printed on cheap Chinese made shirts. Anyway, they got fined more than $200,000 for their shenanigans.

MAGA is easily manipulated into being grifted. Really easy targets.

Are you guys upset that Trump built a brand with MAGA? Then people built businesses selling merchandise of that brand?

The president before did a great job at creating a brand as well. The designer for his logo didn’t want a standard political logo, so he went with a corporate style logo. He was the first president to use social media and website marketing for his benefit. He collaborated with artists and musicians to expand his brand. Then he marketed himself through merchandise.

The left loved their signs of “hope and change” and “Yes we can” They loved the famous “hope”posters. Businesses slapped Obama’s messaging on shirts and hats and sold them all over.

Obama also collaborated with Anna Wintours to create “Runway to win” a marketplace of Obama fashion pieces.
Brought in $40 million.

Businesses got in on it by selling Obama gear and made money from Obama supporters.

I don’t thing it’s one sided. I just think Biden is not marketable. Obama was and Trump still is. I guess that makes both party supporters easy targets for grifters.

No. Its more about lying to their supporters. Maybe you think its cool to tell people that their products are made in usa rather than where they are actually made or to tell people to donate money to build the wall and then use it to line their pockets and to tell people to donate to stop the steal and then use it to line their pockets. Etc etc etc. maybe you are also easily manipulated and cool with being grifted by orange god king. But hey, you do you.

Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t realize that grifters are only on one side. I guess the left never lies to line their pockets. The democrats are blemish free. Or maybe realize that individuals are grifters and not just tied to a party.

I have never made a political donation, never purchased a politicians merchandise and I never will. Dont be so obtuse to political grifting.

You asked the question “are you guys that upset that trump built a brand?”
I simply showed what is upsetting about trumps brand. I apologize for answering the question you asked. I should have known better.

You also stated “Slap MAGA on something, anything, and some dumbasses will buy it.”

I was also responding to this. This happens all the time. Slap a lakers logo on anything and some dumbass will buy it.

Trump was a brand long before he adopted MAGA.

I think "upset" is the wrong word. You don't get upset about things that are banal and expected. I disapprove of Trump's blatant lying about his plans for the money supporters send him, but that's really between him and them. Mentioning it is a public service.

If I'm upset about anything, it's the notion that the US lost it's greatness, when I see the country becoming better every decade since the 1920s.

Recency bias. ;)

Its truly amazing how many of trumps family members, close friends and co workers end up hating him and going against him. He really struggles to keep relationships with people.

“Why can’t you be like the German generals?” Mr. Trump told John Kelly, his chief of staff, preceding the question with an obscenity

The excerpt depicts Mr. Trump as deeply frustrated by his top military officials, whom he saw as insufficiently loyal or obedient to him.
the chief of staff told Mr. Trump that Germany’s generals had “tried to kill Hitler three times and almost pulled it off.”

Mr. Trump was dismissive, according to the excerpt, apparently unaware of the World War II history that Mr. Kelly, a retired four-star general, knew all too well.

“‘No, no, no, they were totally loyal to him,’ the president replied,” according to the book’s authors. “In his version of history, the generals of the Third Reich had been completely subservient to Hitler; this was the model he wanted for his military. Kelly told Trump that there were no such American generals, but the president was determined to test the proposition.”

Much of the excerpt focuses on Gen. Mark A. Milley, who served as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, the country’s top military official, under Mr. Trump. When the president offered him the job, General Milley told him, “I’ll do whatever you ask me to do.” But he quickly soured on the president.

Mr. Trump demanded to send in the military to clear the protesters, but General Milley and other top aides refused. In response, Mr. Trump shouted, “You are all losers!” according to the excerpt. “Turning to Milley, Trump said, ‘Can’t you just shoot them? Just shoot them in the legs or something?’” the authors write.

“It is my belief that you were doing great and irreparable harm to my country,” the general wrote in the letter, which has not been revealed before and was published in its entirety by The New Yorker. General Milley wrote that Mr. Trump did not honor those who had fought against fascism and the Nazis during World War II.

“It’s now obvious to me that you don’t understand that world order,” General Milley wrote. “You don’t understand what the war was all about. In fact, you subscribe to many of the principles that we fought against. And I cannot be a party to that.”

Yet General Milley eventually decided to remain in office so he could ensure that the military could serve as a bulwark against an increasingly out-of-control president, according to the authors of the book.

“‘I’ll just fight him,’” General Milley told his staff, according to the New Yorker excerpt. “The challenge, as he saw it, was to stop Trump from doing any more damage, while also acting in a way that was consistent with his obligation to carry out the orders of his commander in chief. ‘If they want to court-martial me, or put me in prison, have at it.’”

So many people who know trump really well (like family members) and who worked closely with him seem to really think he is a piece of ****.

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) clinched a victory on Wednesday when the Senate — including 48 of the chamber’s 50 Republicans — voted overwhelmingly to admit Finland and Sweden to NATO.
The resolution, which cleared the chamber in a bipartisan 95-1 vote, was a top priority for the Republican leader, who wanted to send a signal about the direction of a GOP that had drifted toward isolationism under former President Trump. Senator Josh Hawley was the only one to vote no.

Trump throughout his presidency was a critic of NATO.

Ahead of the vote on Wednesday, McConnell openly admitted that he was worried about the isolationist wing of the party that has been fueled by Trump.

Yes because he's a psychopath. That's clear. And I don't think he struggles to maintain relationships, I think he doesn't give a ****. He's in a position of power, due primarily to his wealth, so others feel the need to maintain a relationship with him, and he knows it and like any good psychopath, he exploits that to the n-th degree. The only relationships he cares about are with people he admires, like Kim Jong-un and Putin, who are fellow psychopaths that have achieved his ultimate dream, full dictatorship in their countries.

Wow!

Just…

*shaking head*

Wow…

It’s not surprising but it’s still disturbing to me that Trump would say that. And that it won’t make a difference politically for him is just so depressing. His drooling base won’t care, they just wanna trigger the libs.

I remember when tan suits and grey poupon were scandals. Now idolizing Nazi generals is no biggie. Unreal.
