The Biden Administration and All Things Politics

Nice straw man attempt but this discussion was specifically about contraception.
You mean you agree with the 99.9%+ of people who aren't in favor of banning contraception? I salute the bravery it must have taken to voice such a stance. If you need treatment for the PTSD from all the blowback you are receiving, I hear they are making real strides in the medical community.

So you found someone with a hot take. I've heard about a woman who eats fiberglass insulation but that wouldn't justify a blanket condemnation of women because they eat fiberglass insulation and that is effectively what you are trying to do.
Who has the hot take matters though, right silly goose?

I disagree with the idea of what is best for the country is letting women kill their children.
Do you think birth control is now child murder? Damn, you might be crazy.

If the .9% has a say in law making and legislation then it matters much more than what the 99.9% who dont have a say think.

Oh no guys. The elderly might get cheaper health care, the air, water, and soil might get cleaner, they might close loopholes that the wealthy can use to avoid paying taxes, and inflation might come down because of this! They also might help those in peril due to drought and that really pisses me off! Im so freaking triggered! They are trying to destroy our country! But dont worry, not all is lost. Republicans have promised to do everything they can to stall or block the bill, with Senator Lindsey Graham on Friday calling the Democratic-backed legislation "this jihad they're on to tax and spend." Hopefully those republicans can keep medicine for elderly high, keep that inflation high, make the environment worse, let those dealing with drought be ****ed, and continue to allow the rich to get richer and not have to pay taxes. Thank you republicans for being there for us!
The legislation has $430 billion in new spending along with raising more than $740 billion in new revenues.

Wow you do all you can to deflect don't you? Feel free to go back and read the posts leading up to this to see how monumentally stupid you sound right now.

I disagree with the idea of what is best for the country is letting women kill their children.
Unfortunately, the alternative is enslaving their bodies to the needs of the fetuses, which is also disagreeable to anyone who thinks women should have equal rights.

I don't care how inconvenient the perfectly healthy child might be, I don't condone killing it. It is a thing you and I will not see eye-to-eye on.
I also condemn such abortions. However, my condemnations are not sufficient to deny people the basic right to decide who gets to use their bodies.

Again, this is a call to overturn Obergefell (gay marriage). Returning this issue to states means that red states will do (guess what they’ll do). So for some posters here who tell others that they’re being alarmist when we warn about the threats to gay marriage, use some basic critical thinking skills and see that we’re not being alarmist at all.

And if women aren’t granted privacy under Roe, why would they be granted privacy over Griswald? So there goes contraception.

It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to see that Republicans are aiming to dismantle contraception and gay marriage rights. They’re telling us, right now, what they want to do. Just listen to what they’re saying:

Lastly, same interview as above. Why isn’t this an automatic yes? Again, some critical thinking might be necessary. He knows his base might demand to return interracial marriage to states. That’s why he dodges this question.

So vote Republican!

Where they want to ban abortion, contraception, gay and interracial marriage, and crush Medicare and social security! What a winning midterm message!

Agreed. Looked to me like he was just leaning in to whisper something to her.
Yeah the thing to me is Trump does enough ****** things that if they try so hard to imply negative intent for literally everything he does is gives his supporters wiggle room for more serious ****. "Oh did you see Trump went to shake that guy's hand then it turned into an awkward fist bump? He's obviously racist!" It just gets dumb. Focus on the real ****** things he does so people don't lose focus and can't point to stuff like this and say "you just see what you want to see, this proves it, Trump's great!"

Kari Lake is so bad she made die hard Trump fans not want to go see him talk about and endorse her.
I guess it sure was lucky the Arizona Democratic Party stepped in to help campaign for Kari Lake.

Thats how bad she is. Democrats see how bad she is and want her to win the republican election so the democratic candidate has a better chance. Its shocking that the republicans would put out an option that is so bad that the democrats actually want her to win. Well, maybe its not shocking after trump, mtg, lauren boebert, josh cawley, gaetz, etc. Its kinda the republican parties thing to produce horrible, bat **** crazy politicians.

Kari Lake won by 30,000+ votes or 4 percent. True, some Democrats switched to help her win. But their help would’ve proven influential if this primary had been decided at the margins by hundreds not thousands of votes.

It’s pretty obvious that the GOP in Arizona has become so radical that even Rusty Bowers admits it

Here in a few months once Arizona has two Democrat Senators and Democrat Gov, Repubs will only have themselves to blame. A state that was red up until a few years ago will now be blue. Nice job
