Next year is contract year and he is UFA in 2024 offseason. There has been a lot of speculation he wants to run the show somewhere instead... and he himself has talked about the sacrifices he makes to be 2nd to Tatum's #1.What's Brown's contract status? Why is he even being asked these questions?

Here's to hoping the Celtics crash and burn in the playoffs and that breaks the camel's back.
Oh Brown wants to win. Thats why he has settled for #2 in Boston. But if Boston crash and burn and especially if Tatum plays bad down the stretch it might be that he feels like "**** it, let me see whats out there".Is this really what the Jazz want
A player who has to be the #1 guy or someone who wants to win
What if he's not happy here either
Brown next to Lauri backed up by Kessler and fed by Dunn is a bright thought, especially with Clarkson on the perimeter. Of course we will have to give up some folks to do it, so maybe not Clarkson but this could be a hell of a team.Oh Brown wants to win. Thats why he has settled for #2 in Boston. Its all a pipe dream really. But he is a 2-way star who really wants to win and who can put up 30 points every night.
How about both?Is this really what the Jazz want

Ochai and like 5 picks??? Likely a third team tbh that gives a player. A Beal/Brown three team deal maybe... picks going to Washington and Boston... Beal goes to Boston... Brown goes to Utah. What do you guys think it would take to land him?
Like for the X-Files poster!Usually if the answer isnt "this is my home, this is where I want to play" then those things are not so. Could also be 100% about money.
...
Or maybe he just had a nice lunch with DA catching up on old times during AS weekend.

I could see it happening if he has a good relationship with Ainge/Hardy, and he was the clear #1 option hereI can't imaging trading what it would take to get Brown unless he would agree to an extension -- and I don't see that happening.
Jazz don't need to take a risk on a player who is verbally expressing how he does not like playing in certain markets that limit his expression. Utah is that kind of market. We just had a superstar publicly complain about it.I'm okay with trading for him. He could be an amazing fit. It would take a third team though. I just want us to keep ochai, Kessler, and the obvious. Dunn and Simone would be nice to keep because I don't think their value is super high but I think they can fit in here well for cheap and help us win.
He also would be an expiring contract next year, so we shouldn't trade too much, but you gotta take some risk. You need to think you have a decent chance of retaining him though.
