Jazz trade Fonteccio to Pistons for 2024 2nd

Look man, I know your thing is to kind of **** on players once they get traded, but you are being weird if you sit here and act like a 40% 3pt shooter (not just a wide open spot-up guy either, a guy who can make tough looks off the catch and motion) isnt worth that. Simone is basically a poor man's Klay Thompson and is hyper valuable.
I am not willingly paying Simone 13M a year. That is not even me being a hater or ******** on him.

I'm wondering If that's a sign for another trade that we take salary in for the future, like Murray. In that scenario clearing space could make sense to still being able to renegotiate and extend Markkanen, right ?

Like if we traded KO i could easily predict the minutes and rotation/lineup changes that would follow. Same with a sexton or clarkson trade.
I got no idea what the starting lineup will be now or how the rotation will play out.
At this point it has to be Ochai. You arent starting Hendricks after not playing him at all.

If I was betting though I would bet the starting 3 isnt currently on the roster and we trade for him in the next 24 hours.

What about lauri taking techs spot? Then kessler takes collins spot and collins takes Lauri spot?

I do agree though that I would bet on Ochai. Also the chance that Clarkson starts in techs spot. I dont think there is any chance at Hendricks starting though.

Me too. I dont think they will though. Would have to be a great offer imo. Hardy might not like sexton but I think DA does.
Same I get the feeling Ainge really likes Sexton. Probably has to do with the fact he plays with a ton of energy, is all about basketball, hardest worker and plays fearless against any opponent. Ainge played the same way on those Boston and Suns teams. He was never the star but always played balls to the wall where opposing teams/fans hated him.

From what I saw Lauri was somewhat successful playing the 3 in Cleveland but he had 2 defensive bigs in Allen/Mobley to make up for any defensive deficiencies he had on the perimeter.
