Mind you, the Wizards fired their previous coach because they were not satisfied with the team's results and wanted to be more competitive, even if they're rebuilding.

We have had some terrible teams in DC over the decades, but somehow this team is both the least talented and least likeable group we've ever seen. It's very hard to root for them on a personal level because they obviously do not care, and they basically give you nothing to be excited about on the basketball side.

This rebuild is going to take 5 to 10 years years. The talent level on this team is about right for a 9 win team. Lots of low end players and role players. Maybe Bilal turns into something eventually but nobody else will amount to a top 3 player on a playoff team.
our full strength roster can’t even punish the Jazz missing 2 of their top 5 players. the lack of talent and effort is so glaring. we need to go scorched earth with the rebuild
Need everyone except Bilal gone, even if it's for cash considerations and second round picks. The vibes from this group have been terrible for years. At this point I don't think they know what they need to do to win.
I hope we can find a new coach like Will Hardy. Utah was overachieving before Danny Ainge purposefully gutted the bench for even more picks.
We need a ruthless offseason from the FO & we absolutely have to hit on our lottery pick.
this is a bottom three team for the next several years. frankly, i'm not sure i'll ever really have the enthusiasm to fully invest myself in this even when we come out the other side
Even for the Wizards, this was a bad loss. I don't understand the offensive play calling in close games...it's like they decide to do everything that doesn't work. Hornets game is probably the only realistic chance to end this losing streak and I'm not confident in winning
But the real ones KNOW that even if we have the highest odds at the first overall pick, destiny will find a way to dick us into grabbing the 4th pick while we watch some other undeserving ******* franchise like SAS jag another 1st overall B2B after dominating the 00's with Robinson/Timmy/Manu/Parker/Kawhi and now Wemby.
It’s almost like the players are trying to lose these games in the late game situations. I know we are trying to lose these games from an organizational perspective, but I’ve never seen the players play so poorly or take such poor shots down the stretch in so many winnable games.
There was that game back at the beginning of the season where we scored 2 points in the last like 10 min of the game. This time it’s 5 points in the last 7 min. Crazy stuff

Holy ****ing collapse. That was a completely winnable game that we just threw away. Looking at the calendar there are really only 4 maybe 5 winnable games left, and you know we aren't going to win half of those.

Honestly what more can you expect. This team got the loser gene built into the foundation. It's in the walls, the pipes, the carpets, and the vents. Losing is sewn into the shorts, and it's soaked into the laces.
