2024 NBA Draft Mega Thread

Not a bad plan. Would be crazy to have 4 picks in the draft. I guess it would be #9 and #28 or #31 for #14 and #23.

Like all drafts there are getting to be a lot of players i am liking.

With 9 there are a bunch.

With the #28 and #31 i am solid on Holmes and Kolek. I like De Silva, Simpson, Furphy. George, Scheierman, jones.

Jazz can move a pick if they need to, I think. NOLA might also ask for another pick coming back in that deal.

Is it just for college or does it have stats for international too? What type of stats does it have available that aren't free?

Also, TIA.
Just for college. I've had it for a couple of months but just started actually using it. It's a bit overwhelming, there's a lot of data available.

For the people who are interested in Chomche..

  1. Scouts will now have multiple opportunities to see Ulrich Chomche during April's Nike Hoop Summit and May's BAL Elevate season in Africa.
His play over the next two months will likely dictate whether the 6'11", 18-year-old will declare for the draft or consider his college offers for the 2024-25 season.
Chomche had some wow moments in December at the G League Showcase, making a strong impression with his rim protection and offensive flashes of shot-making, ball-handling and passing.

Can you find any data that helps to understand defensive impact? I'd love to compare the top 10-20 college players this year vs the top 10-20 college players in last year's draft.

lmao, probably too much work for me. Would take a while.

Meant more like if you want to know what a guy shoots on pull up jumpers or along those lines. They have defensive stats, but those are even more confusing to parse through.

What about Walter's shooting numbers at the rim and off the bounce? Most of his highlights are catch and shoot.

Jakobe ranks in the 15th percentile (assuming for this year is how they do that) at the rim. 85 attempts at the rim, 40 makes. That includes 5 dunks on the season.

His off the dribble jumpers were in the 32nd percentile. 85 attempts, 25 makes. 33% on 2's, 27% on 3's
