Doesn't bode well for our picks... The Wolves might not suffer a big drop off as Rudy ages out of that contract...
They got Edwards. The picks were never going to amount to much unless they get bad injury luck

We only have two picks left and one is top 5 protected. Unless they're bad in 2026-2027, the remaining picks from them don't matter.

Ah that was my guy. He’s looking good so far? Walking paint touch and he’s going to cook bigs on mismatches. I think he’s going to get a consistent midrange jumper that will make him even more dangerous on those.
He looks good.
He looks dynamic.
Leonard Miller really has not progressed much at all in 3 years. Has decent stats this game, but Im not seeing a NBA player at all.

the fears love after a 4-11, 1-4, 7 turnover 6 foul "performance. fears might become the best guard in the history of the nba, but that game certainly wasn't indicative of anything special or even good for that matter. dude is only 18 so can get a lot better, but he NEEDs to get a lot better.

He looked good to me. It isnt all about stats in SL. Minnesota has a stacked team.
Im trying to watch the Nets and the Wolves/Pelicans are making the last minute last 10 minutes.

he looked bad to me. i guess we all have our biases as we watch.
ultimately, if we forget about our biases and what we think we saw, he was inefficient, turned the ball over a ton and fouled a lot. he was also a -13
and i want to continue to qualify this with the fact i understand he's just 18, it's one game and has some skills - just that based on what i saw today, i wouldn't be terribly excited if i were a wolves fan.
You can also get a Collin Sexton for matching salary and receive a 2nd.
I wouldnt say Im bias. I just look at opening performances more as how they look instead of the results. He looked quick and fast and made several really nice plays.. He looked like a NBA PG.
Should we create a thread for LV SL, or just use this overreactions thread?
This thread works great. Not sure that the particular Summer League is more important than that it’s a bunch of young players and other NBA hopefuls playing bad basketball.
I would have been A-OK with Fears, he's a player, but happy we came up Aces. Ace is just so dynamic and can sky.
Ace is going to be amazing.
