I’m not talking about people looking for clicks, I’m talking about the nerds who spend every waking moment of the day tweeting about the draft. Media consensus is different than draft twitter.

We need to land one of the top 3 but I think Darryn Peterson would be the best fit with our current core. Having a dominant primary ball handler would be a nice compliment to the other young players that we have.

A potential young core of:
WCJ
Peterson
Bailey
Hendricks
Kessler

Has the potential to be such a sick squad.

I think the race for #1 will be highly contested between AJ and Peterson. Boozer has a chance to be in that conversation as well but I think he will likely be the third guy off the board when it is all said and done.

That said I'm high on DP. I think there's a really good chance he goes #2 next season. Just don't see anyone eclipsing AJ at #1.

Man I'm telling you it is going to be very close between AJ and DP, Peterson is super legit in the mold of someone like Cade or SGA.
 
Fwiw BYU put their players through NBA combine testing and AJ Dybantsa had 40.5 inch vertical.
