The Non-Jazz NBA Thread in the Jazz Section

Keyonte has made a much bigger impact than Bufkin. Key needs to become more efficient and to play at least 50% engaged on the other side of the court or he will be the next Jordan Clarkson.

Did I say Bufkin and Key are on very different trajectories...???View attachment 19351
Great post.

Vanvleet with a torn ACL according to Shams.
Huge. Obviously Amen and Reed get the reps they need now but KD wanted to go here to win a title and this puts a damper on that.

Has KD signed his extension? I wonder if this impacts his thinking or the teams thinking on how much they will throw out there.

**** that sucks for FVV. He's gotten a lot of criticism, but the fact of the matter is that the Rockets have been very mediocre without him. Neither Amen or Reed have shown they can really handle like a PG/Primary, so they really need one of them to step it up. Aaron Holliday is pretty great for depth though.

KD has had a great career but it sure feels like he left a lot on the table.
Seems like he should have had a career more like LeBron or Kobe and instead is closer to t-mac.

His size and skill set should have gotten him multiple league mvp's

Definitely more than T-mac. Short of Kobe. T-mac never made it out the second round. Maybe like Julius Erving, Charles Barkley, Paul Pierce+, KG kinda career. Dude will end up top 5 scorer of all-time and won two finals against the first or second best player of all time. Two finals MVPs. GS doesn't win both of those without him.

He is going to leave some meat on the bone most likely but he may have a decent next 5+ years left. He will hoop until the wheels fall off.

Lowe/Simmons brought up Sexton as a trade target for Houston, but Simmons said he kind of wrote him off because the 19 million figure made it too hard to work out a trade.
