The dude in 5 games is putting up 21/4/9 this year and getting up 9 ft’s per game.

If he keeps this up all year, how good will he be by years end? Hes improved so much since the end of last year.

Maturity, patience and playmaking are making progress. There’s a difference between his shooting off the catch with his feet set and his shooting off movement where he seems to like being off balance. The latter needs to change.

Still lacking a feel from the PG position with both timing and setting up passing angles. His passing however is crisp, and he does have good accuracy. Especially noticeable with his lob game. His offense for himself is making great strides. I foresee him as an excellent off guard ball handler. Example, watch the pacers w nembhard and Halliburton. His defence still needs lots of work but I personally believe a lot of his deficiencies are worsened by his teammates who constantly are screwing up switches, not fighting over screens well and sagging off matchups creating constant bad chaos. He’s probably better at defense than I think he is. Overall pleased w progress

Keyontes foul drawing, finishing through contact and touch around the rim have improved to the point where they are not his weaknesses anymore. His passing has always been good enough for a combo/2-guard and if he ever learns to pace the offense and initiate it properly he may actually become a great PG. His shooting is the biggest reason why I dont think there are many teams out there who would run him as a starter.... but if he can improve on that then his ceiling may be higher than even I thought.

Its wild to jump from 4.3 to 9.0 FTA and 5.6 to 8.8 APG with just 2.5 added mpg and 2.9% higher usage.

Haven’t watched a Jazz game in ages. But still check box scores and read the boards / twitter so haven’t seen his progression with my own eyes. Keyonte as a prospect was well regarded for his ability to draw fouls. One of the analysts on game theory with vecenie predicted he’d lead the league in free throws one day. If he can continue to progress defensively and make mature decisions offensively I’m all in. Over and over again the league has shown there’s a place for 6’4” combo guards that defend well.

Keyonte always passed the eye test, it just took time.

It's hard to walk away from that Celtics game without being wowed. The great news about his driving game is that it's going to open up his shooting, which will then open up his passing. He's going to have an incredible season. If Kessler does not miss significant time due to injury we're making the play-in

Keyonte has showed me something this season. He's facilitated better than I thought he has and makes less stupid mistakes and seems more sure of himself. Dude will never be able to defend though.
