Following Potential 2026 Draftees

Michigan is 23 point favorites over USC. USC is 12-1 and ranked 24th.

How do we weigh Michigan’s absolute domination? Feels like there’s something going on there that transcends the box score.

McKinney intrigues me as a sleeper prospect but I doubt he leaves unless he has a crazy tournament run. Yaxel really good too.

I really wonder how long until the NCAA is dominated by Europeans. All the talk you hear is about how good Europeans are at developing youth players. General thinking is American players are still able to hold a high degree of relevance in the NBA due to athleticism advantages, but that isnt as present in college. How long til NCAA schools starting hiring foreign coaches largely because of their scouting advantage?

I feel like if I ran a DI program I would hire try to higher whoever the top Euroleague Coach is and just have them farm players from overseas. I would only go after Americans in my direct region. The average high major NCAA head coach makes around 2 million per year iirc. Shouldn't be too hard to get one of these guys to make the jump. I dont see how that doesnt happen in the next 3 years if there isnt some significant rule change. Seems like a no brainer way to get ahead of the curve and get a real advantage.

USC is good, not great, and Michigan is a freight train. Legit 9 deep with a very experienced roster. And May might be the best coach in America right now.
