Following Potential 2026 Draftees

Few players seem to have more varied opinions than Lopez. I've heard he is a defensive prospect and also that he's a liability. I've heard that he's athletic and also that he's not. I've hear he's high motor and low motor. There are always polarizing players, but I don't think I can remember a player who has had such varied opinions about specific attributes. Probably due to few many actually watching him, but as someone who has also not watched him I'm confused AF.

He moves awkwardly. I think that's the main crux of the varied opinions.

He's not unathletic, but he's kind of clunky looking, especially when dribbling. But he's playing pretty well in a league where 18 year olds rarely have success

I swear I've seen people say that him being an athletic freak is his case as prospect. I'm not pretending to have a clue about him, the only time I saw him play was in that preseason game against the Jazz. I just can't remember a prospect with such varied opinions about him.

NBL games and highlights aren't that difficult to find. He also had quite a few Cashiggy videos before the NCAA season started.

In one of his latest pods, Kevin O’Connor says he is concerned, and he’s heard some concern from front offices, about Peterson’s health. Said if he were GM he’d turn over every possible leaf.

In my opinion he's pretty fluid, especially for his size, but just not explosive at all.

If the Jazz get a top 3 draft pick then what is there starting 5? You have to start key, Lauri, JJJ, and one of either Boozer, AJ or Peterson so Ace off the bench? It’s almost too much talent to hone.

Okay, now find one who is bigger and better at creating advantages than these little guards.
Name one guy from this draft who is better at creating advantages than Trae Young. I dare you. I didnt need to add bigger as qualifier, since they are all bigger.

But I'm just pulling your leg here. You are a bit too infatuated with the Kobe archtype. Its not necessarily the top archtype anymore with teams hunting for dunks and corner 3s.

Teams with small lead initiators and small #1 options don't win championships. There are too many examples. The problem is that they can be slowed down by bigger, more athletic defenders.

The one exception is Steph Curry, but look at all the running and shenanigans he goes through to get split-second open looks.
