    Big Picture Stuff

I agree that the particular skills of the players should dictate how the team is ultimately constructed. The thing that interests me most is how systems are built around/for players. It's offensive and defensive systems that win games. You need players who can execute those systems and gain...

Silver-lining take: Keyonte's overall game has been improved by so many reps as the lead guard—but now that he and the FO know that he's sliding back to his more natural role as a scorer and secondary facilitator, he's currently preparing for what will be his best season.

100% this. I've come down off of my Keyonte high, but I think it's pretty nuts to trade him right now. There've been too many positive signs ahead of a possible 3rd-year jump.

    Cody Williams poll

It's time for a poll. Let's get people on-the-record before there are reports that he's gained 15 lbs of muscle and shows some kind of promise in Summer League game.

I'm 100% onboard with selling high on Kessler. I flipped to this position the moment we slid to #5.

an RS with a big turbo swap. In other words, a Ford Focus that's faster around the track than the Porsches that were being made when you were a kid.

The Jazz Must Select Hansen Yang at 21

I'd definitely be onboard with getting this guy at 21. I'd feel this way regardless of the trades I'm hoping we make, but I'm now leaning in the direction of trading Kessler, so there's additional need for a center in my mind.

What do you think of Kasparas Jakucionis?

Kas was extremely two-faced as a defender. He had pretty solid stretches. But he definitely coasted if he thought the game was out-of-reach. The coasting is a problem in its own right, of course; but his ceiling is better than it can seem at times.

What do you think of Kasparas Jakucionis?

I have Kon and Kas just about even on my board. Depends on my mood.

Who Do You Prefer Among Ace Bailey, Tre Johnson & V.J. Edgecombe? (Poll)

Having Bailey and Hendricks for rim-defending help would be a luxury.

Who Do You Prefer Among Ace Bailey, Tre Johnson & V.J. Edgecombe? (Poll)

I'm still of the opinion that Ace is the biggest swing out of players in this tier. I don't believe in Tre's defense or passing enough to give him the edge.

What do you think of Kasparas Jakucionis?

I think Kasparas's ceiling is pretty damn high. He might end up with the ability to pass people open. Elite passing prospect. Earlier in the season, I had him at #3 on my board. But I see the argument for dropping him down to 7 or 8. The people who have him all the way down at 11 or so have...

Trade Lauri for The 3rd Pick

Our recent setback (moving down to #5), has me wanting: 1. Trade Lauri for max value 2. Trade Kessler for max value (I wouldn't want to pay a traditional center what his extension will be worth when we're on our [setback] timeline). 3. Trade Sexton 4. Trade Collins 5. Trade Clarkson I'm...
