I think the biggest thing that surprises me in all of this, sadly, is that so many Republicans are surprised at Trump’s behavior. How could you NOT see this coming from miles away even before he was elected in 2016? If you didn’t you were completely disregarding the logical side of your brain.

OK, well... bye.

I must confess, this thought went through my mind as well. Perhaps the ultra-right-wingers follow Trump to a new party, and a new, more moderate, centrist Republican party emerges from the ashes of this fire.
