You are lucky it was not worse. I used to be fork lift certified in college, but never on a stand up rig. I think John Collins ****ed up the same finger, so you guys are twins.
I almost lost a swimming race once with over a million competitors. Failing to get first place would have resulted in death. It was quite the ordeal.
I know this may sound made up, but it was completely true. Nine months later I was born.
I once fell off a 100 foot ladder. Thank god I was on the bottom rung when it happened. :)
Ok, now that we have the dad joke out of the way, here are mine 1) I worked in a warehouse loading trucks swing shift during non-basketball season/summer in college. We warmed up the loaded diesel semi...
Chevy's are good rigs, but depreciate too mich. I get buying Tacoma owners for sure. Their resale is 2nd to none, to the point that buying them used makes no sense. I have had 3 and sold them all for basically what I bought them for 7 years later. Time will tell if the new 4 cyl hybrid Tacoma...
The current "long-term" bubble in demand generated by millennials will slowly deflate, as baby boomers downsize their living space and age out of the housing market. Falling fertility rates mean post-millennial generations will be smaller. The birth rate has been below the death rate since 1974...
That makes sense. The spending during COVID was insane, (started with Trump and finished by Biden, so not pointing fingers at both parties) with PPP being perhaps the worst when the majority of companies taking it not having a need. My old firm took $7MM in PPP funds and still had record income...
Not to be negative, but is 5% per year in raises for two years an increase with inflation?
The starting MSRP on a Hybrid Accord has risen from $27k to $33k over two years (basically 20%+).
I raised my own rates 10% this year, but don't feel like that puts me in a lot better position...
Since 2020, my investments have seen a large increase, but when taking into account inflation and the increased cost of many things (automobiles increasing even more with new tech), my non-REIT investments are not even keeping up.
I just want to see good basketball on both ends. An offense with lots of movement and passing to get good shots, and disiplined defense.
I'm all for a rebuild, but want to see good disiplines play along the way.
Creating a culture of smart ball will translate through as players develop and...
Only when the Jazz are negatively affected. Sort of like the Durant foul. Yes, he grazed the ball first, but it didn't stop Lauri feom raising up and still getting a good shot off, when Durant clearly fouled him. I understand ball contact first in certain situations, like a continuous swipe, but...
It seems like his interior D is similar to last year. At his length he could be better. Like most of the roster, I assume his 3 pt defense is down, a lot of that attributable to the zone this year.
Here are some tracking defense 3pt stats:
Collins man shoots 5.2% better than his opponent.
Lauri+3.2%.
Sexton +1.6%.
Keyonte's +5.5%.
Clarkson +2.9%
Kessler +1.3%
Dunn +1.0%
THT +5.8%
Sensabaugh -0.6 But smaller sample size
Hendricks at +9.6, but smaller sample size.
I will say the...
