This is all kind of overblown in my opinion.
1. Security Guards is a young persons' job.
2. Young people aren't going to recognize the great players from the 80s.
3. It's the security guards job to check for credentials. They were doing their job.
I hope they didn't reprimand, demote or...
I love that he takes charges - it's statistically much better defense than a blocked shot. Here's why:
When you take a charge:
* The other player gets a foul - when you block a shot that is not so.
* Your team gets possession of the ball - when you block a shot that is not always the case.
*...
**Defense**
Illyasova defensive rating his entire career is a 104, last year a 102. Rudys defensive rating this year? 102.
Illyasova defensive win shares, 2.0 would rank him 2nd behind only Rudy on the team.
Per 36 minutes he is a better defensive rebounder than Favors.
Nikola Mirotic answers a lot of these issues. He can guard the 4 spot better than Bojan and guard the 3, 2 and 1 (in limited minutes). He would also fit these team seamlessly. He's also healthy and rested (advantages over Otto Porter).
Sure. I didn't say they made a specific commentary to the balance of calls, but having watched the whole thing and taken score, going through play-by-play - the overwhelming majority of the bad calls favored the Sixers and went against the Jazz. If they say 7 out of 8 calls definitely, wrongly...
Thought this was great, and Ronnie Nunn basically refutes the whole 2 minute report. Which I was not expecting. Jazz got beat up all game and robbed on 6-7 straight calls down the stretch.
The only question left is does Donovan get called for a foul on tip off at the next game?

Don't know if you all saw this one:
“Like if you’re talking to somebody, they’re like, ‘How’s Utah? How’s...
March schedule. And we still got April and May to get through as well.
13 games total and I can see the Jazz going 10-3. Which would be winning 77% of their games - which is below their current 80% winning percentage. I see us dropping at least ONE game to Memphis and possibly Brooklyn...
Or he could become a defensively dominant presence like Gobert and we could have 48 minutes of shot blocking and paint protection next season?
As good as Favors is - he is not on Gobert's level - Udoka may be.
