Good point on the FTs... And maybe that's a better indicator than his 3p% and attempts... But the attempts really bug me. I think it shows more than ability(or lack thereof)... It shows lack of confidence in his shot... both by himself and by his coaches.
I have no idea how we can project his shooting to anywhere close to that level. To me he looks closer to Andre Roberson shooting wise than to Millsap. In fact I would consider him reaching Millsap type of shooting somewhere in his top 5 percent of outcomes.
I guess it boils down to... Do you think he can be somewhere on the Draymond spectrum in the NBA? Seems like those are his ideal roles both on offense and on defense, right? Realistically, I mean.
They got Luka for AD and a bag of chips... Can you blame them? They've been the beneficiary of a million super favorable trades over the years... They think they are invincible.
Yep, the more I return to Kessler the more I feel like ... I can probably live with trading him this summer. He's good... But he's not good enough for you to make all sorts of accommodations to him in building your team.
That's where we probably need to make a serious attempt at getting to no. 2. I noticed you didn't include Lauri... I would personally be in favor of including him in a deal for 2. I also think Kessler and CMB is almost as doomed of a pairing as Gobert and Favors was.
So... Where does that...
Is he really THAT good defensively? Singlehandedly transform the worst defense in the league? As a perimeter defender? I kind of feel like it's almost impossible for a non-rim protector to singlehandedly transform horrible defense into a good one(not even talking about great or elite one). But...
Kind of sucks that our highest picks have been the two most disappointing ones( still early on Cody and injury-related on Hendricks), but this has to matter. I was thinking B initially but IMO you just have to hit on the highest picks much better than we have. I'd probably give it a C/C+ thereabout.

Presti was right. I cannot think of a reason why the Jazz or any small market team would vote for flattening the odds.
I mean they just traded for a PG who needs the ball in his hands to be at his best. I kind of don't think Harper is a the greatest of fits for them... although, at the same time, I've always maintained that you can never have enough on-ball talent... so who knows? At least you have to try IMO.
I think it has gotten worse, but not because the path we took was the wrong path initially. I think that 2022 team had exhausted its opporunities for contention and we had extremely limited avenues for improvement. That was an aging team that didn't seem like they liked each other very...
Room for expanded role?
I'm liking Kon more and more the more we approach the draft.
...
AST% even lower = the only other guy who can put the ball in the basket gone.
I'm very hesitant about Edgecombe. On one hand I do think he's a winning player. I think he's the type of player we need the...
Watching all those playoff games and wondering - how many of our current players can you imagine getting minutes in games like those? Be honest... 2? Do we have more than 2?
