I love that we are shooting for the high upside of a big, versatile, skilled wing. I disagree with the people who say he's a safe pick. He's not, but as long as he works hard on his game and is determined to get better, he can be a star in this league.

Lets go... Ace is a great prospect. Lets hope he's he works as hard and is as determined as his talent deserves. One thing you cannot complain about with this pick - we are shooting at the stars.

At least now we know for sure what this Jazz FO prefers in the draft. We have our pick of the litter of some great prospects - Ace, Tre, Fears... I like all of them at this point of the draft. Lets see... We won't have to guess "but who would they have picked if this or that player was there?"...

That's the real crime in this whole situation - Ace's shot distribution.

My last hunch is that it's a smokescreen. Just... seems very unlike this Jazz FO to have the pick leaked like... 3 days before the draft. This just looks so much like something they would say if they wanted to convince the teams behind us that they don't need to worry and don't need to try to...

Neither the Jazz FO, nor the Celtics FO(young Ainge's recent team) seem to be particularly leaky so... I actually think for the Fears thing to actually become a ... thing 2-3 days before the draft I feel like this must be a smokescreen. We are probably trying to convince a team behind us that...
