Game Thread Jan 23, 2022 06:30PM MT: Jazz at Warriors

Jazz tend to play to the level of the competition, up to good teams and down to bad teams. They may surprise us tonight.

    Trade deadline discussion

A combo of Gobert and Collins is quite intriguing. I feel that Bogey is more valuable than he gets credit for. I like it, but I feel that Clarkson is the most expendable on the team. As the stats show, we have the #1 offense in the league, so losing an "inefficient" scorer wouldn't kill us. We...

    Judy Gobert and Michelle Conley

It's quite creepy how some of these are actually quite attractive.......

    NON-JAZZ NBA PLAYOFF thread

I agree. MPJr is starting to really come around, and maybe, Aaron Gordon will live up to his potential in a new location.

    NON-JAZZ NBA PLAYOFF thread

I think that a western finals matchup with the Nuggets would be pretty cool. A rematch from last year, except there is no Murray this time.

    WHAT FUTURE HOLDS

The core (Don & Rudy) should be her for awhile, so that is possible. The thing that I love about those two is that they are both personally motivated to be as good as possible. They should only get better, barring injury. I feel that the Jazz are in the best position that they have been in...

    NBA play in tournament thread

Who sees the Blazers beating the Nuggets? With Murray out, I can see the Nuggets having difficulty with Dame and McCollum's high scoring.

    NBA awards

IMO, this is the best Jazz team that I've seen. Yes, Stockton and Malone may be better individually better than any player on the current roster. However, as a whole, I feel that they are the best as a unit. The depth has never been better. Clarkson and Bogie are getting hot at the right time...

Official Utah Jazz 2021 Championship Boat!!!

Don't get me wrong, the Griz looked pretty good. However, nobody on their team, or really any team, can get as hot as Curry. So, avoiding the potential upset from the Warriors is a plus.

    Mitchell injury

I wonder if the injury is that bad or if this is an opportunity for rest. I'm sure that no time would have been missed if we were in the playoffs.

Game Thread May 01, 2021 08:00PM MT: Jazz vs. Raptors

Bogey seems to finally have it going again. Niang has been playing well, too. It would be nice for everyone to play well at the same time. Maybe, they will for the playoffs. The main reason that I am so high on them this year is that they have the depth. Probably the best depth that the Jazz...

    I'm Worried About Clarkson

Despite the recent struggles, you always need a guy that has no fear to score and gets the green light to shoot. That is Clarkson. A lot of guys shrink from the moment.

I think that you are thinking of the great Brendan Haywood.

Lol. The media was saying that his Lakers teams was a lot better than last year's championship team. Think of how good the Jazz are playing.

    Rudy and Derrick

This team's depth really highlights how sorely lacking those Stockton/Malone teams were in the role player department. Just imagine if the front office would have supported them more.

    Let's play remember when

I really loved that team with D-Will, Boozer, Okur, Millsap, AK47, etc. We did get to the conference finals, but the Spurs, as usual, dominated us. He may get a bad rap for his injury-milking history and lack of D, but Booz was very good offensive player and one of the most consistent PFs in...

Game Thread Feb 13, 2021 7:00PM MT: Jazz vs. Heat

In previous years, we had to win games to stay in playoff contention. This year, I am on the edge of my seat hoping for the huge winning streaks to continue. It's crazy that despite winning 18 of the last 19, the Jazz are still only .5 game ahead of the Lakers. They can't get any distance.

    Rudy and Derrick

The secret sauce to the Jazz's success this season has been their depth. In the past, if their top player was having an off game, then they probably would lose the game. Now, someone else will just step up.

    Suck It Conley Haters

This is so crazy. Just a couple weeks ago, we were all thinking of ways to unload him for anything in a trade. Now, he is our best player through 5 games. Will we actually end up re-signing him?

    Gobert - Wow

He truly is our most valuable player. There is a night/day difference in results when he doesn't play.
